Cargo rework & recovery

Practical solutions when cargo doesn't go to plan

MLK supports freight forwarders, shipping companies and hauliers requiring practical assistance with damaged, unstable or problematic consignments in the Humber region.

When a consignment arrives damaged, unstable or badly stowed, it needs sorting before it can go any further. We restack, rewrap and repalletise suitable cargo so it can be stored or moved on, and we handle and segregate loads that need remedial attention.

We work directly with freight forwarders, shipping companies and hauliers. Each job is assessed on its own, subject to safety and the suitability of the product.

Rework or transhipment?

Rework is for cargo that needs attention after something has gone wrong. If a load simply needs moving between vehicles or transport units, see transhipment and cargo handling.
